Come to our comfortable office in South Denver to discuss you or your children's symptoms, health goals, history and make a treatment plan. We can order testing and medication as needed. This visit is for new or follow up physicals, DOT Exams, work, sports and school exams, or Lactation. Your wellness is our business, so we may recommend screenings and have preventive health conversations for your best outcome. We are a holistic practice and welcome every modality that makes sense in your case. 

Appointments are available in person or via Telehealth. (Please note that any visit in which a controlled medication is refilled must be in person.)

Telehealth Visit
Video or Phone

Telehealth is a great idea if you are feeling ill, have a fever or a rash. You can also use this time slot if you need new medication, an updated care plan, or have complicated issues. We will send you an easy link for your video visit, or can call you by phone if preferred. It is helpful if you have vital signs and measurements on hand before the chat.

Secure Text Messaging

With all paid services we offer secure text messaging included as part of your care. Texts are great for a single question, to schedule appointments, a quick check in, or for questions about your kids. No need for an appointment with texting. We will upload any photos right into your chart!

Coming to the group for social reasons is always free! Join our group visits to socialize and be part of the community. 

Paid members will get personalized attention, medical attention and care planning. Be surrounded by peers going through a similar experience so you can swap tips and share support. Each group lasts about 90 minutes.

Newborn Slow Weight Gain Package
Many Visits

Mothers come to us feeling shame and overwhelm when they think breastfeeding is going well, but are told that their baby is not thriving. We will help you determine the exact causes for slow weight gain and make a plan for catch up weight gains. We use supplementation as a last resort, because there are many elegant and simple evidence-based techniques for rapid infant weight gains that many general medical practices miss out on. We will text you snapshots of your child's growth chart so you can track results. If you are determined to exclusively breastfeed, but have been told you are not enough, please call us. We will prove to you that you have everything your baby needs with a carefully crafted feeding routine.

Fussy Baby Package
Several Visits

In our culture, many parents start bargaining or going on elimination diets when babies are very fussy. These methods just don't work. There are medical and non-medical reasons why this can happen, and there are also solutions that work. You are not alone. We can help you zero in on causes without silly elimination diets, and give you all the practical tips for managing and curing fussy infants, including support and self-care routines. We will help you reduce crying time without quitting the foods you love or breastfeeding. It's time to start enjoying your baby again.

Birth Processing Visit

This is a mental health checkup to help you when you feel stuck. We will discuss the medical and emotional aspects of your birth experiences, and evaluate you for baby blues, depression, anxiety, OCD or other disorders that can impact your lifestyle quality. We can answer questions about your birth using our extensive obstetric experience, and help you make a plan for bonding with and enjoying your new family. There is no reason to settle for less than feeling your best.

Infant Feeding Visit

Packages and group rates available for complex cases. 

During this visit, we will discover your goals around infant feeding. We will troubleshoot pain while nursing, pumping problems, and sleep issues. We will carefully evaluate for infant tongue-tie (but will never recommend burning your baby with a laser, there are better and gentler ways.) We will follow up until all issues are resolved to your satisfaction. We do not accept poor experiences as normal around here, and we are with you all the way!

Return to Work Planning

This can be done as a group or with individualized planning. We will make sure you have the right equipment, discuss insurance coverage for breast pumps, take care of any medical notes or documentation you need, and create a personalized plan for you and your baby's caregiver so you can return to work in peace with a backup stash of milk, a new routine, and confidence.

Surrogacy, Adoptive, or Induced Lactation Package

First, we determine what your prospects are for making a full milk supply by doing a complete medical history. We estimate how much milk you will be able to produce. Then we determine what plan will help you reach your goals, whether you need prescription medication or herbal support and what your future feeding routine will be. We guide you on options just in case you are short on milk. We also connect you with other parents who have succeeded in your situation.

Low Milk Supply Package 
Many Visits

Infants Over 6 Months Old 

This is our most frequently requested service. We can help any human with any size breast make more milk, and probably all the milk your baby needs. ALL causes of low milk supply are treatable. We will assist you when others say you should give up. We will offer emotional support and connect you with other parents who have done the same work and succeeded. We do a complete workup to determine your unique situation, and what may be preventing you from making a full milk supply. Then, we use every modality to advance your case to meet your goals as quickly as possible. We supply the backup plan, explain ways to feed your baby the healthiest diet when you are unable to make enough milk. We shortcut you to the easiest, cheapest and fastest ways to catch up to what your baby needs. We never give up until you have the milk supply you expect.

Chronic Mastitis Package
Several Visits

Complete workup to determine causes, and a tenacious and comprehensive plan to eliminate infections for good. This package includes complete medical history and any prescriptions you need to set you free so you can start enjoying breastfeeding again. We will also do all the follow up needed to win back the milk supply that has been insulted. We will provide you the emotional support you need when you are tired of being sick.

NICU Graduate Package
6 Months

When families bring home babies from hospital intensive care (NICU), they are usually not fully breastfeeding. Mothers are pump-dependent and don't have a roadmap of how to step down from triple-feeding plans. You will find all the support you need in one place. We can wean infants off oxygen from this office, provided comprehensive feeding plans that are safe and simple, and support your child's strong weight gain and milestones. We offer complete pediatric care and feeding plans for medically fragile babies. We have loads of experience with preterm infants, multiples, babies with cardiac conditions, Down syndrome and cleft palates. We offer peer and group support to help you carry on. For families who desire exclusive at-breast feeding and feel like their wish has been derailed by a hospital stay, this is the package for you. The future is bright!

Breast Refusal Package 
Bottle Refusal Package

While bottle refusal can usually be managed in 1-2 phone calls, return to breast issues take a bit longer. We will provide the hands-on and emotional support you need for sustained efforts in teaching your baby how to feed at the breast. Don't be discouraged, we have never met a baby we could not help breastfeed. The oldest baby with breast refusal that we helped nurse again was 9 months old. If the mother is determined, we can make it happen together.

Relactation Package

You have the right to change your mind! Many parents quit breastfeeding before they planned to because of circumstances beyond their control. Maybe they started a new medication, took a trip, returned to work, suffered chronic breast infections, got bad advice, or didn't have enough support around home. You can bring your milk back even months later. We can give you the blueprint for getting back to exactly where you want to be.
